Via Florida folk quintet is currently recording their debut EP. This unique and modern folklore formation (bass, drums and percussion, guitar, piano and vocals) played classical themes as Remanso Song, La Flor Azul, Black Presumptuous and Al Otro Lado del Río.

Paul Vidal (Pearl Irregular): This young musician after making pre-production of the album in late 2007 in our study, returned now to make what will be formally record by La Perla Irregular. It consists of about 10 compositions.

Baseball Wedding Center Pieces

Clusters (Vocal Quartet) Recording

late December 2007 we started a new job, recording Clusters. This training interprets pieces of rock and pop bands and singers known, but reversals and arranged for 4 voices and 2 guitars. The arrangements are all made by Daniel Camelo, director of the quartet as well as singer and guitarist. The rest of the members who participated in the recording are Paul on vocals and guitar, and Anna and the Black on vocals, musicians of great renown.

quartet The idea was to make the recording of what would be their demo presentation. So they chose two songs from his extensive repertoire and entered the room to start recording. The topics chosen were Kite U2 and Sting's Fragile.

started recording the guitars of both subjects. Kite was recorded for two electric guitars, a strato (Pablo) and Parker (Daniel), both executed simultaneously, and the company following the metronome. To Fragile other hand two guitars were recorded separately for native intro using a Mid Side miking seeking to create a good stereo image of the same. In Fragile adding there was also a guest on the Peruvian cajon, which comes after the first round of the topic, so that he recorded his part playing live with one of the guitars, so that the subject did not lose the intent played live a rumba style Flemish.

After having the bases of both tracks were added to certain components of percussion, basically shakers, tambourines and clapping. Once completed and were ready to begin with the voices, which look more arrangements made by the quartet.

In the first session we were able to make some shots of voices, but after so much previous work, it was better to start a new gorges where all were fresh. So another day was that all voices were added, some individually and others taken together, not to lose the essence of the 4 voices sounding simultaneously, which charge a very different character than when taken separately. We recarlcar that despite the difficulty of some repairs could be carried out in a very agile recording.

Thus, in two sessions the recording was made of the two topics. Finally the mixture would be.

The mixture was held at third day and was led by Fernando. The intention was to basically maintain the cleanliness and purity of the guitars and vocals. During this process, Daniel was always giving the group's view of where the mixture was routed.

was really a pleasure to work with such great musicians and people as open level in the professional and personal. Clusters

is appearing in various bars and pubs Federal Capital and Greater Buenos Aires. To listen and learn from their presentations:

Tri-fold Rolling Mirror

Paul Vidal ( Irregular Pearl) Recording

In early December marked the beginning of what was the recording of La Perla Irregular. This is the name under which Paul Vidal gave life to his solo musical venture.

This young musician came to our studio to perform a pre-production of the compositions he had to his credit. The uniqueness was that he would record all instruments (with some exceptions of guest musicians). As this way, Paul never heard the compositions with all instruments playing at the same time, but he had made parts for everyone but merely assembled in his head and imagining how they would sound. It was a pleasant surprise for him and for us to see how each issue grew and took shape with each recording, and we can say that we really surprised of the accuracy of some arrangements that had never been touched by all the instruments together before.

Thus we started recording the guitars base on which later joined by the rest of the instrumentation. Some with and some without metronome depending on the requirement of the composition. At a meeting had already recorded the guitars of the 9 songs.

In other two sessions were added the batteries, bass and guitar arrangements, as well as guest instruments on this occasion were bandoneon and trumpet.

Finally we devote an entire session to the recording of voices and choirs, with voices reviewed in another session to finish polishing the details.

finally made the mixture of the nine themes. This work is distributed between Jonathan and Fernando technicians who were engaged throughout the recording. And of course Paul was always present at the time of the mixture giving the ideas and giving final approval.

end of December this pre production Irregular Pearl was ready to welcome 2008.

was really a pleasure to work with Paul, a young musician that he bet on his inspiration.

Paul is now filing this Pre Production by several cultural centers and bars. You can listen on our myspace, and to know your presentations go to:

In his compositions address various rhythmic styles typically based on mixing with River Plate and typically jazzy harmonies and sonorities. Musicality and composition worthy of appreciation. Three musicians in a professional and incredible warmth.
